Whether you’re considering your first hive or simply interested in learning more about honey bees, our Beginner Beekeeping Classes are designed to provide a solid foundation for new beekeepers. Drawing on over 45 years of beekeeping experience and the management of more than 200 colonies, we offer practical instruction focused on helping students build the knowledge and confidence needed to maintain healthy hives.

Class Information & Registration

Classes are offered seasonally and are typically held before the start of the beekeeping season to help students prepare for spring bee package and nuc installations. Class sizes are limited to ensure a quality learning experience, and advance registration is required.
